Whether placed on the dining table with a birthday bouquet, on the windowsill with fresh spring flowers, or as a decorative piece on a shelf – this Bunzlauer trumpet vase is a perfect fit for any space. Its wide, flared rim and narrowing base create a well-balanced silhouette and ensure a stable stand.
The hand-painted Peacock Eye pattern is one of the oldest and most well-known designs in Bunzlauer pottery. Inspired by the natural elegance of peacock feathers, it has symbolized beauty and protection for centuries. As early as the 18th century, it was used as a decorative element in the Bolesławiec region, where it was believed that the peacock’s eye could ward off evil spirits.
Another interesting detail: The open shape of this trumpet vase was designed to allow floral arrangements to fall naturally and loosely. It is perfect not only for lush bouquets but also for long-stemmed single flowers or dried grasses, which are well-supported by the narrow base.
With a capacity of 500 ml, this vase is a versatile choice, bringing the charm of handcrafted Bunzlauer pottery into any home.
