Pattern DU205 is defined by a dense arrangement of red and pink flowers. Fine green branches and dark blue flower centres add contrast, while the strong cobalt-blue rim provides a clear border around the colourful decoration.
This Bolesławiec dinner plate adds colour to the table without requiring elaborate accessories. It works particularly well with light wood, white table linen or plain fabric napkins. It can also be paired with dark blue tableware for a coordinated setting.
The generous surface provides room for a complete lunch or dinner. Pasta, roasted vegetables, meat dishes and meals with several side dishes can all be served comfortably. Much of the floral decoration remains visible around the food.
Bolesławiec pottery has a strong glazed surface and is well suited to tableware that is used regularly. The smooth glaze protects the decoration and makes the plate pleasant to handle. Different Bolesławiec patterns can be combined freely, so a completely matching dinner service is not required.
Slight differences between individual flowers and shades are a normal feature of this type of pottery. Each plate may therefore vary a little while retaining the characteristic appearance of pattern DU205.
