The pleasant volume of these unique mugs makes them the perfect companion for breakfast or dinner. The shape of these spherical cups originated in Bohemia, which is why they are also called "Bohemian cups". Bohemia is a region in what is now the Czech Republic, bordering on the Bohemian Forest. Due to the proximity to Boleslawiec, these mugs have also been made by hand in Boleslawiec for a very long time.
