Our shapely French butter dish in the detailed Boleslawiec decor 166a.
The butter dish works with water, which is filled into the lower vessel. Soft butter is then smeared into the inner cylinder of the lid (about 175 grams fit into the Boleslawiec butter dish). Now the lid is placed on the can so that the butter hangs upside down in the water. It is thus isolated from oxygen, which usually causes butter to go rancid. The butter is passively cooled through evaporation.
Your butter stays fresh up to a room temperature of up to 27°C and (in contrast to cooling in the refrigerator) pleasantly spreadable. The butter can be stored like this for up to three days.
Tip: Simply salt your butter yourself by adding salt to the water, depending on your taste.
