Pattern 8

The peacock's eye pattern, known as Polish pottery decor 8, is characterised by its unmistakable appearance. The typical peacock eyes in deep blue are evenly distributed and consist of a central white dot surrounded by red and green rings. These circles are reminiscent of the splendid plumage of peacocks and give the pattern its name. This pattern has been around since the early 19th century and has since established itself as a timeless classic.
