This two-part weighting stone exerts the necessary pressure on the fermenting vegetables in the pot so that they are covered with water all the time. It is made of high quality stoneware ceramic and can be easily cleaned with warm water. The two stones form a hole in the middle and are not flush with each other, in order to allow the gases produced during fermentation to escape from the pot. A useful addition to your Boleslawiec fermentation pot.
